About The Artwork

"The Study Of A Watchful Eye" is a three-piece artwork which acknowledges all the situations in our life when we feel that someone from above is watching us, in order to help us. Sometimes, these magical watchful eyes just observe and take no action, sometimes they scan around for danger, and sometimes they cry with us. The pieces are different sizes: 21 x 27.5 cm, 23 x 32.5 cm, and 21 x 29.5 cm. (C) 2018 The firebird reached the boiling point, Fluttered and flew away, Leaving me and my daughter Without strength in dismay. I was impolite to her. I guess, she has not forgiven and left in a British manner, As if she has never cared. I didn’t have enough faith. The daughter has gone to the stars, Disappeared in colorful sails Between reality, dream, and gars. I've been wingless for endless time, Wandered from cell to cell, Roared without getting tired and kept my diaries well. I became an over-adult With trembling humble legs. A teenager in me died, Not daring to cut the veins. Sexless, lame, discreet, With a dream of precious romance, Teenager wanted to drop out, He wanted to join the sails ... And somewhere on the edge of hell, That boringly borders on paradise I began to ask for mercy, Pleading for gift in disguise. And in the pink blob of May, Like a good theatrical play, You suddenly called me: "Dear, Let's cry together and pray. " And the tears exploded. Boom, My life opened a door for a new thought ... Bring me back my firebird wings! I'm ready for a daughter once more. (C) 2018 *** All original paintings include a certificate of authentication and a piece of original and translated poetry with an autograph attached to the back of the painting.

Elena Emma's unique painting and writing style exudes infinite inner depth and freedom. All of her paintings, completed with an illustrative playful touch, have a piece of unique, immensely deep poetry dedicated to them, contrasting the complexity of adult-like subjects with child-like strokes. As a diverse writer, emerging artist, startup consultant and entrepreneur, a professor, a mother of two boys, and a passionate, curious, and spiritual woman, Elena draws her inspiration from experiential fearlessness, deep observational analysis, continuous soul searching, and never-ending internal and external growth. Her visual and written stories, often told from a female perspective, concentrate on exploring the larger picture in business, love, and being. They stimulate the reader and the viewer with open-ended questions and strong encouragement to find his or her own truth. Her characters and situations are multi-dimensional, and through them, she often challenges widely-accepted designations of personal and professional, new and old, right and wrong, good and bad, blurring the preset differences between these terms, and offering new definitions. Elena is the authentic "voice" of her generation, of those born in the 1980s and 1990s to a world of distorted physical, geographical, and moral boundaries, who are yet to find balance between the inborn inner wisdom and cynical dissonance of outside happenings. Be it fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or paintings, Elena Emma's artwork will leave you mildly teary-eyed and contemplative about your own daily existence and the changes you can make to it. THE SKY IS NO LIMIT.
