About The Artwork
Lord Shiva is the most important deity in the Indian religious tradition. He is considered as the Supreme God of Shivite tradition and His Tandava dance is the representation of cosmic flames. The Shiva or the cosmic dancer performs the dance of doomsday with the spiritual flames which will burn the negativities in the Universe. Third Eye is the concept of a speculative invisible eye of Lord Shiva with which he burns all desires to ashes. Here, Lord Shiva is represented as the flame of eternal purity.
