About The Artwork

The racist incident inspired me to create this painting. I prefer the style of Favism in artwork, since it gives me freedom of expression. Racism, And That’s A Problem in China. My friend Gracy was born in Kenya, in the town of Eldoret. Last year, we decided to swim in the outdoor public pool. The sunny atmosphere and subtropical climate, aroused the desire to swim. I bought a tickets for two persons at the resort center. Nothing foreshadowed trouble. We went to the locker room to wear swimsuits and then go to the swimming area, but enjoy the wonderful time in the pool we failed. The guards ran up to us, rudely took the pass to the pool at Gracy's, and they said- “You're white can go swim, she's black- NO!-NO!-NO!” We were shocked by what happened. Long discussion of the situation with the management of the resort center did not give any results. Chinese workers and visitors to the pool were aggressively inclined against Gracy swimming in the pool. Since she has a black skin color. This situation traumatized my psyche. i realized that people who had to face racism were experiencing. That’s so sad. Does your status in society determine the color and distinctive appearance of the skin? Gracy loves brightcolors, and it's natural when you were born in a country rich in nature. I decided to capture Gracy in history and drew her portrait. . After years, the society will ask-who is the africangirl on the painting? What did the author want to say in this work? . The author wanted to say-we are all equal regardless of gender, skin color and sexualorientation . We were born as nature wanted to see us. If you believe that nature makes mistakes, you will be wrong. Thanks for reading. . P.S. She's crazy about shoes.

Maks Egorov (Russian: Максим Егоров; born 23 June 1988) is a Russian artist, who spent 5 years in China. Maks Egorov was born in the industrial capital of Russia, Yekaterinburg city in 1988. His childhood was during the collapse of the Soviet Union. When the Soviet Union collapsed, most people were excited but unprepared for the challenges, including his family. The unhealthy situation in the family caused him multiple psychological traumas, which influenced his attitude to life. He found comfort in a close friendship with a boy living in the neighborhood. But several years of strong friendship ended at one point because of the tragic death of a friend in a car accident. By the age of 13, Maks finds the support of a school art teacher, thereby he gets the opportunity to participate in urban art competitions. Despite the first successes in the artistic career, mental experiences did not fade away, which led to suicide at the age of 16. Several clinical deaths during the week in a coma. Doctors managed to save him. After a few months of rehabilitation, Maks opens his first solo show, where he demonstrates artworks in different techniques and is mainly devoted to the topic of life after death. Then he gets a lot of attention from the local media. For several years after the coma, Maks Egorov actively opens a series of solo shows in his hometown of Yekaterinburg.
