The abstract crowning with thorns Painting

I tend to create abstract paintings that are seeking to fix a physical and spiritual existence, relying on texture, personal chromatic harmony, dynamic gestures, a form of violence and intuition. At the end, the combination of these elements is supposed to create an unsolvable representation, pointing to something that simply exists. This work uses oil and particular chemicals. The background, a reinterpretation of Titian's "crowning with thorns" turned after a fever night and under drugs, into a vivid, organic and aberrant abstraction. The painting is organized in vibrant ochres, oxydes reds, greens and black brushstrokes. The work also displays textures, reliefs, satin and translucent layers of paint revealing a background full of dots. The painting costs 10 000 USD because I simply love it. I have it right under my eyes, in my apartment for more than one year now, and I am still not bored of it at all.
