About The Artwork
My colourful work soaked in folk and tribal arts of Rajasthan echoes regional festivities and the stories I have heard from my grandmother as a child. Growing up in a middle class joint family I have remained firmly connected to my roots. It was my fascination for art that led me to join the city university’s arts faculty from where I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Drawing and Painting. I have been inspired by the Madhubani and Miniature traditions and have also learnt printmaking, etching and silk screen printing in my journey.
