Painting worked from free improvisation. Action painting with the music of The Beatles. The panel of lions from the Chauvet Cave (France) is probably considered the first painted landscape in history. A group of lions stalks a group of bison. The painting is fantastic and extraordinarily expressive. In this work, some of the figures in this panel (the lionesses on the left) and from other places in the cave (the stylized mammoth or the rhinoceros in the lower part) are reinterpreted, constructing a "Chauvet-style" landscape where these Figures coexist and are related to some of my usual drawings, especially with the figure of the humanoid equipped with his trident (symbol of agriculture) that seems to indicate that from now on he is the king and the Earth belongs to him. We are only animals, but we speak with the Gods. We hunt and paint. We farm and pray. We are insignificant and giants at the same time. Simple and magical. We are nothing or perhaps the only thing. We, who are Nature but who have become something else. Gestural, intuitive painting, which lets things happen and relies on what appears. Taking advantage of the accident and accepting the consequences. The unknown, what slips through our fingers... Nature, antiquity, the earthly and the spiritual. The need to tell things, to leave a mark, to understand the world, which is always modern and ancient. Nothing matters much... Working with a lost gaze...

I'm an expressionist abstract painter. I make lyrical paintings, based on color, texture and energy. I try to connect with the most ancient part of my brain, the least educated area. I develop my work in 2 phases, the first one is the most intuitive part of the work, I create interest without thinking a lot, without judge anything and giving to myself opportunities to create interest. In the second phase, I work in a more logical way, working the composition, values and details. I work with acrylics, alcohol inks and spray painting mainly.
