"The Serenity of a Moment" captures the fleeting essence of time through an oil on paper. At the center of the composition, a pair of hands share a cigarette, an intimate gesture that evokes a moment of connection and tranquility. However, these hands appear to have many fingers, as if duplicated, creating a sense of multiplicity and unfolding. The blue background provides calmness and depth, suggesting a timeless space where this small human gesture unfolds. Blue also symbolizes serenity and introspection, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the scene and contemplate the nature of time. The multiple hands and fingers represent the idea that a single moment can contain countless experiences. This duplication suggests that time is not linear but layered with meanings and memories. The act of sharing a cigarette, a fleeting and everyday gesture, becomes a symbol of how shared moments can expand and resonate beyond their immediate duration. The title "The Serenity of a Moment" emphasizes the quiet and peace found in a single instant. Through this work, Zoe Lunar invites us to reflect on how time is perceived in small human interactions, how each gesture has the power to transcend the present and leave a lasting impression.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
