The wrong trees Painting

Look at the landscape and everywhere you can see mankind’s attempts to manipulate, tame and control. Sometimes nature struggles like a storm to reclaim what it wants and sometimes like a sleeping beast it waits. When I paint I try to recall the feeling of big sky and dark clouds. Sometimes it is only an instant and sometimes it is an endless day. Rain and wind coming over the mountains. My painting seeks to evoke what lives in the folds of the hills and the dark woods.
