About The Artwork

25 years ago, a number of priceless works of art were stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum in Boston in one of the largest art heists in history. Among the paintings stolen was Vermeer's 'The Concert'. The thieves, dressed as Boston police officers, made off with millions of dollars of art and have never been caught, nor the artwork recovered. I used the heist setting of these paintings to produce my own impression of Vermeer's famous work as it was the last time it was ever seen in public. I have adopted a rather naive style for the painting, representing the unknown in who undertook the theft and how it would have occurred.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a self-taught artist specialising in oils. I first started painting in 2012 and generally painted whatever caught my interest. This has in the last few years narrowed down to focus on figurative art, with themes of lost artwork, Don Quixote, historical paintings and portraiture. Looking forward to presenting my next collection in late 2020/early 2021 - "Lost Art".
