Thrall of the Bride of Hephaestus Painting

Jay Bailey was born in Reno, Nevada in 1976. He earned his BA from the University of Nevada, Reno, undertook post baccalaureate studies at the San Francisco Art Institute, and acquired his MFA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His work is an organic combination of drawing, painting, and digital media. It often depicts people in various states of the human experience, as impacted by the digital age. He has exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States. He resides in Texas with his wife and daughter.
