This piece sold quickly on August 12. This painting is a small triptych of 3 small panels of the head in motion of a beautiful woman, sort of multiple exposure styles. A triptych is a single artwork that it made up of 3 parts or panels but belonging to a whole. View it as as a very short sequence of images of the same subject. This particular piece is acrylic on gessoed masonite and framed with simple wooden moulding, painted basic black. The 3 original panels were done separately and could have been framed and sold separately, but they're all l line up and framed together. I was reminded a little bit of Edward Muybridge and his series of still photographs of people and animals in various stages of motions and decided 'what the hell', I'd do my own more colorful and modern take on a woman named Famke in action. All ready for hanging with wire, screw eyes, corner bumpers, etc. on the back.

I've been a full-time artist off and on (mostly on) since 1985. My work seems to be about the quality of light - mostly a cinematic or noirish lighting. My early work were moody night scenes, and later on, I switched to the female figure. Now, I do a variety of subjects as they interest me and to keep from getting bored,
