Legend says that many aeons ago three sisters waited by the lake for their lovers to arrive and whisk them off to other lands. The land molded around them, the winds blew and the rains poured but still no young men appeared. Eventually a witch found them asleep one night and transformed them into 3 mountains. At times handsome young men would hike through the valley and stare at the mountains in awe but they did not see the fair maidens trapped in their mountain domain. When the rains come the sisters tears can be seen descending down the sides of the mountains to the lake below. They will cry and wail but they still remain together in hope and expectation.

I really like telling a story through my art which inspires the viewer and triggers their imagination.
