About The Artwork
I think the meaning of every artwork comes at the end of making process. This one's born a few months ago, from a drawing I drew while I was a little upset. Actually I can't remember why. I just remember I took a paper and a simple pen because I needed to evacuated those bad feelings. Some time later - my last week in Florence before summer holidays - I found this drawing. As I said, I didn't recall feelings I felt when I put it on paper, or the truly meaning of this bizarre composition, but I decided to let it become a painting anyway. Now, I watch at this big work and I think it has to do with me in a deeply way. It speaks about how I feel among people, and how I can face life and sociability. I can't say anything more. You can find your own point and it'll be (obviously) correct!

Born in Lecce, I live and work in Florence since 2007. I paint bodies, monsters, black humor stuff, bizarre characters and tragicomic demons. My art is featured by high contrasts, sculptural figures and material colour, but at the same time it can be etheral and extremely visual. My oil on canvas paintings tell tales from below, they look into what lies lurking beneath the shadow line. I found a bottomless gorge which from I took every eyesore.
