About The Artwork
Especially for the 200th anniversary of society Kunstliefde are 20 artists - all members of Kunstliefde - invited to create a new work with a collection piece as a starting point.This was my reaction to the Tide rope walker of Pyke Koch. Th two peaces were exhibited in the Centraal Museum Utrecht in 2007.

I started my studies in theater design at the university of the Arts in Utrecht in 1993 But I fell in love with painting and switched studies to fine art with specialism in painting. I guess from that day I started my career. I got my degree in 1997. Before the university I got my degree in design at the Nimeto Utrecht, where I nowadays teach drawing and spatial design. This provides me freedom to make my art. I took part in exhibitions in the Netherlands Belgium and Germany, some solo exhibitions, Drents museum and some private collectors have my work in their collection. I did some art commissions and organization.
