Tierra Calida This work was inspired by nature's invisible element - the wind. Done on a large canvas, it reproduces the dynamic spaces, interlaced movements and translucent light of this element. Mimicking the wind, this work drags us to the three-dimensional world of successive contorted planes, extensive superimposed strokes and optical illusions. Porcelli captures the shifting effects of the wind in its natural element, yet abstracts them as if the wind were the paintbrush that triumphs, comes and goes, slides, prolongs, and dematerialises the sea, the heat, the sky, the night, the ground, the water and anything in its path. Using themes and colors prevalent in contemporary Latin American art, this work is part of one of Porcelli's most successful series: Vientos. It expresses the warmth and movement of a summer wind.
