About The Artwork
Temper acrylic paint and permanent pigment on cotton previously primed with chalk. Final varnish. This piece belongs to the series of paintings called "Torn Posters" and deals with the passage of time and memory. It is inspired by urban walls and the advertising posters that fill them and are torn by people in their path, giving rise to new interpretations and other meanings. Residues of the 20th century that form our collective memory. Advertising, movies, television, old magazines or comics are used as a means of inspiration to build a new message.
