About The Artwork

I like taking notes in the pens of the Plaza de Las Ventas in Madrid. It is where the animals are before the afternoon run. They are fantastic, mythological, beautiful animals. It is the only wild animal left in Europe. CANVAS COMES WITH INTERNAL STRETCHED WOODEN SUBFRAME. NO NEED TO FRAME IT, READY FOR HANGING. SIGNED AND DATED ON BACK SIDE OF THE PAINTING BY JAVIER MONTESOL. ARTWORK FOR COLLECTORS AND ART CONNOISSEURS. INCLUDED CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY (COA). "I've been learning to paint all my life, everything that is alive, everything I've seen, what has been recorded, what has been forgotten, everything has been for and for trying to be a painter, illustrator and illustrator. (...) One paints because it is a way of assimilating reality, of measuring it, of placing it in your head. Painting is fundamentally an act of situating the outside world using your senses. That is why art is above all a spiritual, religious fact, because it is contemplation, meditation and execution. Learn and narrate what you have learned. Art is a state of grace in which you seek a harmony with life and plasmas with more or less skill." Javier Montesol, born in 1952, around 52 years of experience in fine art. Spanish painter from Barcelona. Art store: instagram: @montesolart

I was born in Barcelona in 1952 and belongs to the generation that fostered the cultural transition in Spain resulting from the change in the political regime that took place in the mid-70s. I played a leading role in the original comic movement that was initiated in the early 80s and was the founder of emblematic magazines such as Star and Cairo. In My early days as an artist I was perceived as a cultural agitator and throughout my career I have exhibited my artworks in galleries located in Spain and France, being well known among specialised echelons in Europe and the United States.
