Totempoles Painting

These are two separate paintings which belong together, They are totempoles representing nature Elements and human and animal spirits, The figures that can be found among them are: In the white one; from up to down, a tree, an owl, flowers and bees, a white butterfly, a fox, and the roots of the tree. In the black one, A butterfly, a man and a woman, a turtle, two ducks, and a crow. These works were made mainly outside, prepared on a sandy beach and finished in the woods were the animals spirits were present. There are signs of the places as sandy spots, maybe an insect here or there caught between the paint, but most of all the energy of these places and these animals. They are like soaring towers and at the same time have a child like aspect to them.
