This original painting, by Bobby Jack Pack Jr., is actually a tribute to two different types of creative professionals. The sign painter and the illustrator artist. The people who really didn't get much recognition from the public, but are responsible for drawings and artwork that became childhood memories.
"The Adverts" is the name of this collection of vintage advertisement sign paintings.
Bobby's "Trix Are For Kids" painting began with a beautifully smooth wood panel and high quality oil base paint. The colors are bright and vibrant, built and painted to last the ages.

Bobby Jack Pack Jr. was born and raised in north Texas, and currently resides in Dallas. Early childhood interest included drawing, mosaics and painting. In his high school years, he found film making and photography, after receiving a 35mm camera from a family friend. He immediately found it to be a fascinating artistic tool. Often getting practice by photographing concerts, cars, and producing stop motion animation. After college Bobby went to work at Billy Bob's Texas. In 1981 they were just opening their doors for business, and he was working at the on sight photography studio, Frontier Photos. During this time he learned how to handle large groups of people, often drunk, sitting for photos in vintage western attire. His ability to accurately match color and his keen eye for detail found him employment in the darkroom at photo labs during this time too. In 1986 he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, and found freelance publication work. After a couple of years Bobby came back to Dallas and landed a bartending gig at a popular live music venue in Deep Ellum. While working here, Bobby was exposed to a limitless pool of talent. So it only seemed natural to make something with it, so, the cable access, low budget, Bobby Jack Pack Show Comedy Show was born. He was responsible for all facets of the show from writing, shooting, to editing. This sketch comedy show is fast paced with most skits lasting just a few seconds. Also featured is a returning soap opera saga. Running 30 minutes each, there are currently 21 episodes. The experience gained from the comedy show would prove priceless when Bobby began working on a film. He currently has two documentaries in post production. The last few years have brought him full circle and he has begun painting once again. Working on several photography and painting collections as well as lenticulars.
