ABOUT THE ARTWORK

"Try to Remember" is a captivating piece, painted in a mesmerizing cobalt blue hue in the distinct cubist style. The enigmatic essence of the artwork draws the viewer in, evoking a sense of intrigue and curiosity. The use of cubism adds an element of mystery, as the fragmented forms and angles seem to conceal and reveal simultaneously. The portrayal of the mysterious women talking in the painting further enhances its allure, leaving one to ponder over the untold stories and unspoken memories.

An artist is just a simple instrument through which the energies of the Universe flow. (Zen proverb) Painting is not only an expression of the reality through images, but an escape from reality to an imaginary artist’s interior soul, a dialogue in the future revealing sequences of the past. Without art, shape and colour, the world would be poorer and lifeless. My art shows respect for emotion and form, trying to reach their greatness and majesty, to tune and harmonize them with all the tendencies of the spirit and the soul. My way of working tries to make the emotion more intense, more perceptible, finally more beautiful, from a plastic point of view. I have a romantic temperament, a lively sensitivity and a kind of sentimental intimidation with spirituality, which I look for in any work I do. Day by day, I discover the wonder of painting and enjoy it, having in my mind the perfect interlocutor for a sincere and bright plastic discourse! I started painting at the age of 5, painting being my first great love. When I paint, I take refuge in my world and reach the highest levels of happiness. I find inspiration in the beauty of Creation that surrounds me: in a flower, in a sunset, in the mountains, in the forests and in the wonderful landscape that surrounds us. Being a professional artist, I alternate between acrylic and oil on canvas. My debut as an artist was influenced by Van Gogh who actually fascinated me when I saw his paintings for the first time at the Hermitage Museum. My artistic maturity was influenced by the art of Gerhart Richter, Picasso and Andy Warhol. I hope that in the future I will be able to refine my art and through the paintings sold to bring beauty and joy to as many art lovers as possible.
