Turning Tides Landscape and light – two states and places full of power and poetry that can unlock our innermost being. The changing tides inspired me to create the painting “Turning Tides”. Ages come and go... our lives, experiences and innermost personality are shaped by these emotional changes in the tides, just like nature itself... in every change we face, the possibility of new development and further development opens up... The work of art itself fascinates with the virtuoso transitions between flowing yellow, orange, turquoise and blue tones paired with skilfully applied surface structures that take the painting from abstract fantasy into three-dimensional reality. I always pay special attention to the diverse details of the work of art, work in different layers of paint, both dry and wet, and deliberately combine brushes, spatulas and squeegee techniques. Canvas on stretcher frame Acrylic paints of high color intensity and durability, a matt varnish preserves the beauty of the painting on the canvas.
