Underwater Reef Painting

I'm an Abstract Impressionist from South West London. Most of my works are inspired by land and seascapes and rather than producing a literal interpretation, I aim to convey the atmospheric vibes and mood of a scene. I found a huge amount of inspiration from the coastal energy and the rustic environment of my tropical upbringing corrupted by my travels and adventure in life. I love experimenting with all types of materials to convey elements of nature. My paintings undergo so much layering, scraping, and being immersed in a moment of inner connection. My artistry involves not a lot of planning but comes from the natural flow of creativity. For me, it is an intuitive process that keeps building until the work “feels right” and “satisfying. I love the sea’s calming blue hues and the invigorating hints of nature wrapping it with beaming sun rays which indirectly explained all the splattering golds that you see in my works. It’s energising. I am currently exhibiting in some virtual art fairs and now joined the club of artists in Artfinder and Saatchi Art. Support independent Artist. Creating Art is bringing so much joy in my life especially when my works found their new home. I paint every day so I guess this is like lifeblood to me. Each piece of art I created has its own stance and presence, with its own individuality. I usually placed my canvas on the ground and danced around it pouring paint from the can or trailing it from the brush or a stick.
