This autumn is unpredictable for me. You can't be sure of tomorrow. We continue to live, see beauty around us, wake up every day, do business. We got used to it a bit. But it is impossible to get used to it completely. A background feeling of anxiety. Panic attacks due to the siren. Such a routine. We learn to live with war. She teaches us. The picture on canvas, stretched on a stretcher. Warm shades fill it with the living breath of autumn. I finished the painting recently, so now it is drying in the gazebo and getting ready to meet its new owner

Alina Anokhina, Alexander Anokhin Born in 1988 in Kharkiv, Ukraine Lives and works in Lviv, Ukraine Women have long inspired me. The incredible difference and beauty. To see the beauty of the body, emotions. When it's hard and scary. It is very important for me that the picture has several components. The main thing is the atmosphere, immersion. When there is something a little mystical. That makes you not immediately understand what exactly is happening on the canvas. Like a dream. Emotional contact. My characters are like people. This is a topic that has been with me for a long time. It's been with me since I was a student. It combines the culture of my country, ancient nature and femininity. These were "Mavki" (mermaids in the tradition of other countries). Since 2014, and almost until the beginning of the full-scale war. I have hardly painted any pictures. I was a co-founder of a small event agency and made custom murals. COVID 19 reminded me what a thrill it was to make my paintings. Six months after 14 February 2022, I completely returned to art. Now there is war in my paintings. It is there because the woman who paints these pictures is in such realities. To observe and reflect. Through the feeling of sleep that is in the paintings, it is easier for me to show what I feel. Sleep cures real pain a little bit, dulls it. I see women against the background of very difficult times. How incredible they are! A strength that is not visible in normal times. It is important to respond to what is happening around you. The mystical world should reflect reality. Artists should know the language of the image. Find it and deepen it. Do not be afraid of combining styles. I like to combine painting with graphics
