Blanco de España y negro de humo are two types of pigment whose names do not have an exact translation into English. They would be equivalent to acetylene black and calcium carbonate. The title in Spanish forms a pun that has no English translation. Although I include it within the Black land series, this artwork speaks of duality, confrontation and difference. Although I really want to talk about the common, what unites us.
