ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I like working in series because I feel every time that I have something new to share and discover. I'm not afraid of repetition because to me running out of ideas seems impossible, with so many combination to make, so many angles to approach an object. This painting is one piece of the puzzle, one of the many faces of the universe I'd like to create.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

When I am painting, I have this mini-universe where I feel secure, where I can play more freely than ever with colors, shapes, texture and patterns. I’m all over the place, on my knees, on the floor making all kind of signs, at the table scrubbing or putting another layer on top covering something that I have previously done, bent over my table or standing up, leaning on a wall or working on multiple pieces at the same time, moving between them like a pianist on the entire keyboard. This is the energy that I seek and that keeps me going. For me, being creative is being playful. So, I take an object and I recreate it from my imagination, and often this object on my paper or canvas (no matter the support) is starting to melt, to dissolve until it becomes an abstraction, a fragment or something very vague. Other times it is so obvious, straight in your face, ready to burst, impossible to avoid, a big shape dominating the space and giving the impression of crushing everything else. It is why I find it impossible to run out of ideas, with so many combinations to make even if the reference remains the same. In fact, repetition is important because it allows me to refine, to better explore the multiple faces of an object. I like taking something ordinary, without any significance and making it something beautiful, important, the star of my art.
