About The Artwork
This 20” x 20” piece was created using acrylic ink on canvas. I like the vibrant, bright colors of inks. This piece has a geometry underlay with swirls of color layered over the geometry. There are multiple layers you can see peek through the other layers, which is what gives this piece depth, and feelings of happiness. When people see this piece in person they tell me it makes them think of a bouquet of flowers, and they that can smell the blooms. The piece attracts attention, bringing smiles to the faces of the viewers. I do have a fascination with flowers, which began as a young child walking in my yard. I saw orange tiger lilies and was in complete awe. Throughout my work, floral images, and their colors, stay with me as I create.
