About The Artwork
All my life I have been passionate about Fine Art. I admire the works by Hokusai, Turner, Monet, Mondrian and Rothko. Kandinsky's writings on the Spiritual in Art has had an influence on my works. I use music to create a meditative state in which to work in, the music ranges from Ravi Shanker, Gamelan and other Far East and Middle East spiritually based music, along with Western Classical composers such as Sibelius, Mahler, Elgar, Bach and John Taverner. My Oil Paintings are created to explore the Spiritual and the Emotional world, leading to works that are Transcendental in nature. Thank you for looking at my work.

I have painted all my life.I admire the works of Turner, Monet, Mondrian, Georgia o' Keeffe, Kandinsky and his book - The Spiritual in Art. In perticular I admire the works by Mark Rothko. In addition I have always been passionate about Photography through out most of my adult life. The Photography courses gave me a greater insight into the theoretical and practical side of Photography, inspiring me to do my own procesing and developing. Taking this experience and adding the digital aspect has help me to take Photography to the next level.
