Shivkumar K V is a multidisciplinary artist born in 1982 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He did a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Sri Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, an MFA from KSOU, and an MA in history from IGNOU. Shivkumar participated in many international art exhibitions in the Netherlands, USA, UK, Ukraine, South Korea, Ethiopia, Germany, etc. His works were selected for many art exhibitions, including the Camel Art Foundation, the Hyderabad Art Society, the Pottisreeramulu Telugu University exhibition, the India Art Fair (Pollinator), and various other art and film festivals. He held a solo art exhibition at the Chitramayee State Art Gallery, Hyderabad, in 2007; at the Iconart Gallery, Hyderabad, in 2010 and 2017; and in numerous other group shows. Shivkumar was awarded a gold medal in the 2nd All India Art Exhibition conducted by Pullaiah Kala Nilayam- Jangaon and the Chitrakala Ratna Award from Sneha Academy, Tirupati, and others. The artist lives and works in Vijayawada as an artist and a HoD/art teacher; he has bagged multiple Best Art Teacher awards and diplomas from many parts of India.
