ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have been currently enjoying using surf boards as canvases. For as long as I have seen surfboards, I have always loved classic longboards, and I am not a surfer. The shape of the boards are quite beautiful. I have taken to find boards that are no longer being used by their riders. This one has a different story. The young lady that I bought it from, never got a chance to ride it. She had to leave her place before it hit the water. It has been well used so it does carry its own story. Painting on this 3 dimensional surface, and the preparation of these 'canvases' is quite different from a traditional canvas. Once I get lost in the painting however, I forget about the canvas type.
