When I was in art school, apart from ordinary subjects (drawing, painting, composition, sculpture), I studied art history. And my preferences in art changed and supplemented as I studied it. At first I dreamed of getting to Egypt and looking at the pyramids and frescoes, then there was Greece, I didn't really like Ancient Rome. Gothic also seemed beautiful but terrifying. My ideal, perfection, was the Renaissance. The backbone of the basics. Baroque, Rococo - not mine. But when I saw the Impressionist paintings I fell in love forever! All these stories of a difficult life, a bold exhibition of sketches that are now considered paintings, the search for techniques and subjects, experiments with light and shadow in a series of paintings ... This is so ... revolutionary. This is for me. It's bold! This work is more of a plagiarism, but only in honor of the great artist. Genius. This is an oil painting and a palette knife for printing on canvas.

It is common practice for me to paint with oils and a palette knife in my own original way. Flowers are the centrepiece of my artworks. They amaze me with the complexity of their shapes. They are the center of my interest. I want to know these forms and spread them out on a plane surface. This is a real passion. I also paint portraits, still-life paintings, landscapes, architectural details of ancient buildings. For me, the most important thing in painting is working with color, light, composition, shape and material. Each artwork is a new experience, a new adventure, a new challenge. A lot of the time the ultimate culmination is unknown to me. The more interesting it is to get to my artwork over and over again.
