WHAT IS ART...... #Evolution Art is patience Abstract & Typography on Solid Wood ***75cm x 50cm Thickest Depth 4cm Shallowest Depth 2cm*** Time and time again I have heard the same lines regarding my style. "I could do that" "Its Just splashing paint how difficult could it be" "My Toddler could do that" This Drawing Board has been with me since the beginning of my journey, Every single painting I have created is embedded into this piece, Be it a splash of paint, some masking tape to hold a piece or using it to mix my palette. With each studio session this piece has evolved. But is it Art??? artists tell a story on canvas, this is my Story. 2 years and 2 months to create. My Journey with this piece began in Feb 2014 and came to an end in April 2017 100% original and unique piece of art. The Board is 2cm thick with an addition lipped piece attached which held my canvases, the depth of this is 4cm. All along the Lip of this piece is a build up of paint which has settled layer upon layer to create a textured ridge. I have fixed Saw tooth hangers to the back so this piece can be hung, upon request I can send this piece with an easel so it can be displayed differently. This piece will be signed on the back and come with a certificate of authenticity My Paintings have found homes all over the world, Australia, Canada, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Uk and the USA

I have always enjoyed being creative but lacked the confidence to pursue a career as an artist, after many nudges from family and friends I decided to bite the bullet. I set out on my artists adventure in Feb 2014 I used my loft for a studio and spent every spare moment experimenting and creating. In Feb 2015 I signed up to several online galleries, every painting I sold boosted my confidence and I would spend hours daydreaming of becoming a full time artist. Since then I have come a long way and have been able to purchase my own studio, I now have a little sanctuary in my back garden. When I am not working as a part time book keeper, I can be found hidden away in my studio creating original artworks. I am inspired by the nature around me, from flourishing meadows to the crashing waves in the ocean, however I do like to add my own twist on things. I do love to work freely with abstract using colours and textures to guide me. For me Art is a necessity, I need to paint. The colours and images that swirl round my head daily I capture on canvas. I feel very privileged to have sold my work all over the world. My dream is to become a full time artist, With each painting I sell I take a step closer to achieving my goal. I achieved this goal on 08/08/2018 "If you give up on your dreams, what's left?" (Jim Carrey)
