ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Kacper Kalinowski is a contemporary Polish painter. His painting has features of both Italian Renaissance and magical realism. Although indirectly through them in the way they are used, the subject matter and style of the paintings refer directly to the workshop of the old masters. Pale women and horses rule Kalinowski's world. The background scenes are reminiscent of classic Renaissance masterpieces. It also uses the past, but with fresh perspectives, in line with current trends. Kacper Kalinowski was born in 1983 in Poland, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. The painting is framed in a beautiful wooden frame.
