WONDERFUL NATURE Painting

I, Karin Koelbl, was born January 1952 in Halle / Westfalen in Germany. After school, I studied at the Evangelische Fachhochschule in Hannover, Germany, obtaining the degree of Diplomated Socialworker. Moved march 1978 to Santa Cruz de la Sierra in Bolivia where I still live. I began to paint watercolors in 2014 as an autodidact. Since then, I participated on many individual and collectives exhibitions as well as in some events. My paintings are about flora, mainly flowers, which are my muses. I consider flowers as ambassadors of feelings and representing important moments in life. I feel a lot of harmony between flowers and the magic of flowing colors and the brillant transparency of watercolors. My watercolors are considered as powerfull, intensiv coloured, refreshing and harmonizing magic with esthetics. They renews the concept of classic watercolour paintings in its technic and big format presentation.
