Walking my steps gave way to light Painting

Giovanni di Rosa is an Italian artist. He was born in Avellino (Italy) in 1991. He attended the Art School in Benevento and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan (which he left in 2011). In his canvases, the use of the traditional oil painting technique is perfectly combined with a vision of great modernity. With a rapid and incisive stroke that is at the same time rich in detail, he narrates everyday scenes, in which moments of encounters and excitement alternate with images of absolute emptiness and desolation. The speed of the brushstrokes crumbles the forms, eliminating the contours of the figures, yet restoring the truth of the impetuses or emotional silences.
