Painting, Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 11.8 W x 39.4 H x 1.2 D in
This canvas was created to remind us that others 'accusers' will try to impose their own 'negativities' on us, and claim that we carry these traits, while the accusers deny their own negativities. We have all been accused of having a particular trait or mannerism when, in fact, that trait belongs to the accuser. This canvas reminds us that we should not accept these accusations from the accusers. We should also embrace and deal with our own hidden traits as areas for self-development and growth. This canvas features a WANTED poster, placed by the accuser as a form of imprisoning label placed upon the accused. The door represents the mental prison that the accuser would have us reside within. However, this WANTED poster, with false claims, has been torn down by the accused. We should all tear down these wanted posters, place upon us, or we face being imprisoned in negativities imposed upon us by others who are too under-developed to accept and deal with their own issues. Some of this WANTED poster remains on the prison door and is a reminder that these accusations are not so easy to remove and will leave a lasting mark. It will either influence the way we think about the accuser or affect how we feel about ourselves.
