About The Artwork
It seems like every other news article is about war and the consequences of war. This painting is painted as part of the dialogue of war -- neither in war's favor, nor against it. The subject matter being an assault rifle placed against a "happy" and intricate blue background are meant to be contemplative. I have been thinking about this painting for over a year. Paint finally met substrate, and with it, the 4th painting in the "War Machines" series is complete.
