ABOUT THE ARTWORK
One of my favorite places to visit is coastal Maine. I love the rugged, primal coastline, and the wonderful shapes and energy from the ocean crashing onto its rocks. In addition to aviation art, I enjoy rendering seascapes. This piece was inspired by a trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. I want the viewer to feel the energy of the wave, and the water washing over the rocks. I very much enjoy the play of light and shadow in this painting.
