About The Artwork
This painting was inspired by foggy beach mornings in Ocean Grove, New Jersey on the Atlantic and rocky Pacific tidepools in San Diego. This sandbar is a complex fantasy place with muted yet whimsical colors and swirling skies. The light and soft color scheme would be welcome in any room. There is a hidden darkness under the soft exterior. The painting was created with Acrylic paint and various mixing mediums, pumice stone and gels in order to get the various textures across the canvas. The edges have been painted as shown in the photos, so framing is not necessary. The painting is also initialed and signed. I hope that you find the meaning that you are searching for within this scene. Hanging hardware is not included. Painting will be professionally packed for shipment.
