About The Artwork
This piece was painted at home at an art session together with my children. This was a tumultuous time when all the challenges of life converged just like the giant waves of Teahupo'o, Tahiti. The ocean in the beyond is deep water while the reef is very shallow. On a big swell, water pulled off the reef tumbles with great turbulence and white water.
