About The Artwork

In summer I paint a lot of landscapes in Óvár, Tihany (at the lake Balaton in Hungary). My studio paintings are inner landscapes. I paint spontaneously, without any plans, sometimes I wonder, how the scene and the actors of my paintings developed. In autumn 2010 I realized that the scene of some of my paintings was familiar to me. Although I painted them in studio, I felt, as I was in ancient Óvár. In my dreams this landscape is different than in reality. Do I remember its ancient state from somewhere? In painting nothing is impossible. Are the mystical figures walking towards the stone “dolmens” on the picture the actors of some ancient ritual?
