About The Artwork

"What the Women built, Nocturnal" is a night scene of a previous painting, "What the Women Built". For these two paintings I actually build the structure depicted out of wood and found objects. These paintings imagine a possibly abandoned structured that wass buildt by a group of women. I'd like the viewer to imagine the narrative, the circumstances that lead to the building of the structure.
