Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas.

This is an interesting painting that made it's way to be exhibited at the Musee de Louvre in France. It was selected amount a few other pieces by the same artist to be exhibited in the contemporary art exhibit at the Salon International des art contemporains at the museum. The artist was honoured to be part of such an important invite. It cost the artist the flight from Alberta Canada to France but the experience gained was priceless. The paintings by this artist are now listed as part modern museum's collection. A few European countries have some of the art by the same artist. The artist is able to break the normal barriers imposed by galleries that contract artists and able to exhibit around the world with out being the contracts of any particular gallery, yet a lot of galleries are asking the artist to exhibit at their gallery with the freedom to be able to choose what to exhibit and for how long and when.It has led this artist to carve a new path for many artists to come. The artist hopes that eventually art galleries will contract art and not the artist. She is not into fame for the name but is all about the expressionism of the art pieces it self. This painting is about a bike in motion and a biker. The engine of the bike and the passenger are the same person, they are the driving force in the movement and taking risks to look around the corner, to see what else does this world has to offer.
