White-tailed Deer Illustration Painting

The White-tailed Deer can be found from southern Canada through most of the U.S. and Mexico to South America (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, northern Brazil, Venezuela, and the Guianas). It is one of the more attractive deers in the region and is considered to be Least Concern by the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources. I decided to make this illustration to celebrate the Natural Parks and Reserves day (August 24) and to remember my camping days as a child, with my father. I used Fabriano Satiné, 25 % cotton cardboard and fine art coloured pencils.
