White flower Painting

This is one of my abstract pieces of art. I painted white ink on a thick backing cardboard. The detail work was drawn with green, pink and blue markers and coloured pencils. The gestural marks might be reminiscent of Cy Twombly's work and recently I have started to enjoy making dots, not unlike Yayoi Kusama. I have a genetic disorder, a deletion of a small, random part of my 8th chromosome which makes it hard for me to hold a pen and learn new things. My outlook on life and my personal experiences are expressed in my mark making. This work was made on thick cardboard. Please see photo of back to get an idea. It is about 3mm thick.
