About The Artwork
Wild Beige Blue is a huge study of native flora set against a marbled background of light grey and beige, with small areas of white. Using a soft carbon black the plants are painted in and softened with layers of soft warm grey and beige. There are small highlights of grey blue, beige, a beige brown and metallic silver. The metallic silver highlights the entire artwork and will change depending on the light and angle of the viewer. It measures 84.6 x 86.6inches or 215 Height x 220 cm Wide unstretched. Allowing for a 6cm or 2 and 1/2 inch border for stretching on a deep/wide edge canvas stretcher. This thick edge stretcher will create a final measurement of approximately 203 Height x 208cm Wide Framing could result in a large artwork size depending on the frame. This artwork is unstretched and can be stretched by your local framing service or by your local Mobile framer. Ships in a roll.

I paint, I create and make things that make me happy. Sounds simple enough... but maybe that's what it should be. I was born in Ireland, grew up in Zimbabwe and have lived in the UK,USA and Australia. Meeting new people and exploring where I live inspires much of my work. I create in a medium appropriate to the inspiration. My artwork finds expression in oils, acrylics, charcoal, mixed media and glass. I use print making, stenciling, texture, fabric and transfers to create multi-layered tactile pieces. You will find my unique artwork in offices, hotels, homes, bars and restaurants in Australia, Europe, USA, Canada, China, Singapore and Southern Africa. I have 14 years of experience consulting on various international projects where the work was created to specification as the majority of the projects required custom made artwork. I understand how to evaluate and select materials that align with aesthetics, compliance and individual needs. I am very comfortable with collaborating on a brief and love the cross pollination of ideas that result from co-designing art work.
