Wild Seats Painting

My paintings are inspired by the experience of wandering in neighborhoods in different cities I have lived. I capture the loneliness and sweetness of the abandoned furniture. I hope the objects could look not as sad as they were, so I reimagine a dream-like environment for the them to live in. In each painting, there is an attempt of trying to understand the story behind these objects and scenes. but the traces can only tell you so little about the owner. The flatness of the paint acts as the metaphor of my failure attempt of going deeper. I invite the viewer to create their own stories beyond my paintings.
