1958 Born in Schwbisch Gmnd, Germany.
German painter, grew up in England, has lived in the Netherlands for 20 years.

"Sabina Wrner has lived in the Netherlands for 20 years and her barock Southern German heritage has gradually blended with local inspirations. A fascination for Dutch barock still-life paintings and lusty Italian and French 17th and 18th century depictions has recently driven her to paint large and voluptuous erotic scenarios imbedded in oversized fruit and flower arrangements." On first viewing my paintings seem mainly colourful and light.
My interest in flowers and fruits results from the fact that they transport endless nuances of colour and that short life processes can be surveyed while painting them. A meditative viewer can perceive these organic developments that blend with my own experiences during painting. A layering of acrylic, egg-tempera and oil paint adds to this depth. Very much alive and in motion is how I want my works to come across.
