Drawing rich inspiration from her surrounding environment, Andrea Edwards creates from her Sydney studio, located between ocean, lake and bushland. Her painting takes form in an abstract expressive style with an impressionist feel. Working intuitively, immersed in her long held fascinations for colour theory, communication and aesthetics, allows her art to continually evolve, flow and share connection with an audience. Calming and meditative, perhaps engaging and restorative to the viewer; Andrea’s artworks have often been said to contain an ethereal and healing element; inviting the observer to engage with their own individual experience, senses and heartfelt memory.
