About The Artwork
In cold Russian winters my favourite way to pass time is to have tea with a friend on a cold kitchen. This still life has nostalgic quality to it, as i depicted objects of the Russian past, like metal tea pot, vintage tea cups and Russian pretzels. The minty green gives it the freshness of a winter day and the bird in the window always keeps the company to the viewer.
