The World Tree is a very important symbol in many cultures. It represents the idea of the harmony and unity of the world and the idea of the Universe that is shared by many nations. The upper part of the tree is associated with heaven, the middle part with the earth, and the lower part with the underworld. The World Tree is associated with morning, day and night, the past, present and future, the three elements of nature - earth, water, and fire. The triple image relates to the existence of all living creatures on Earth. It is associated with the life of ancestors, present generation, and descendants. The World Tree is tied to the idea of eternal life and immortality. It is always beyond the reach of evil and dark forces. The World Tree is the source of beauty, goodness, and magic. It is meant to preserve the mystery of existence. This symbol has absorbed universal juices from the depths of the earth, the heights of heaven, the invisible sources of the peoples' spirit. Everyone who discovers it receives inexhaustible strength and becomes stronger spiritually. The snake at the roots of the tree carries the meaning of the wisdom of the centuries, all the wisdom of the ancestors. The image of a man and a woman, united in one heart in the centre of the trunk is a symbol of unity of the opposites. It represents the masculine and the feminine in every one of us. The infinity of life and vitality. Life in the present moment, between past and future, here and now. It is a symbol of love and goodness. In the crown of the tree, which represents the future, you can see many different symbols related to life force, creative energy, love, goodness, and light, which serve to protect people and their families.

Until 2012, the artist worked mainly in the style of realism, using different techniques (watercolour, pastel, oil painting). Then, she starts drawing in the fantasy style and develops a new unusual style, which can be compared to Art Nouveau. It can be described as her own unique symbolism. This style captures Anastasia's interest and she delves deeply into the language of symbols and their interpretation. As a result, her paintings are not only fine, yet captivating, combinations of colours and patterns, but also with profound, sacred meaning. Anastasia's exhibition activity also starts in the UAE. The artist takes part in group exhibitions in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other emirates, presents collections of her works at individual exhibitions. She successfully participates in international art weeks and becomes a winner at international art competitions in Russia and abroad. Since mid-2019, the artist lives in Montenegro, where she continues to work in her two favourite styles - realism and symbolism. Anastasia Yablokova is a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia and a member of the National Pastel Society of Russia.
